A Surefire Way To Make More Money On Almost Every Gig

Here I'll give you a great tip to dramatically increase the income you make by getting people to tip you on practically every gig!
OK, how many of you would like to expect to make make $800 for the night, and walk away with $900 - $1,000 instead? And without doing any additional work? Sound good? Well, here's how.

I have a client of my marketing services named Paul who was about to perform as a wedding DJ host/emcee (this technique will work in other situations also. This guy now uses it all of the time).

He had already collected a $300 deposit from the couple by using the sample agreement I provided him with(a copy is included in the "DJ Training Tips - Making Money As A Mobile Entertainer" course). He was scheduled to pick up the remaining balance of $695 on the evening of the wedding.

But he wanted to make some extra cash, so I advised him to try something that had worked very well for me with clients of my DJ business services. It helped me, and many DJs that I shared it with reap a tremendous number of gratuities.

Here's what my associate did to get himself even more money that evening.

The Phone Call

The first step is the phone call. He called the bride and confirmed all of the information. This made him appear professional. He also asked for any special requests or instructions. Now here's the clincher. At the end of the conversation, he said:

"By the way, I just wanted to let you know that I don't tack on a standard gratuity like many caterers or service related professionals do. I don't think it's fair to you. Tips are given because you are satisfied with the service, not because someone puts it in their contract. At the end of the evening, if you feel that my service was worthy of a gratuity, then that will be your option - not a requirement. Tips are appreciated, but I Don't make them part of my contract."

Many people think that a tip has already been included in the price you charged them. Most service industries work that way. By letting them know that you didn't include the tip, you are practically ensuring yourself of a tip. Trust me. It works big time.

At the end of the evening my client received a $100 tip. Not bad for making a 6 minute phone call, eh?
